We are an organization that develops its business of goat dairy products based on the premise that natural foods are more effective in the short, medium and long term for proper human development.
Through cooperatives, team work and proactive actions, we promote the participation of as many goat farmers as possible. These are incorporated to the production chain, upon compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, which results in a reliable and optimal product to meet the needs of thousands of people with nutritional and pediatric problems.
Therefore, La Primera is an organization with a strong social purpose, that is served not only through the manufacturing of its products but also through the sourcing of its raw materials.
This certification is awarded to companies that meet the highest standards in terms of environmental and social performance, transparency and corporate responsibility.

In 1997, worried about the wrong nutrition of millions of children who are intolerant to cow’s milk protein (CMPA), representing 10% of the child population, we conducted an in-depth market analysis to determine the feasibility of developing our own goat’s milk. The goal was to provide a high quality, natural nutritional solution to this problem.
Since 2000, together with a group of farmers and technicians from the National Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) and the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), we started developing a goat dairy located in the northwest of the province of Córdoba, at the limit with Catamarca and La Rioja, along the coast of the Big Salt Lakes (Salinas Grandes).
In 2002, after making great efforts to develop a competitive diary, we started to define the milk harvesting routes according to certain logistic, animal care and milk quality parameters. At that time, we engaged 90 family producers of kids and residual milk.
We understood that this initiative translated into a prosperous and sustainable business unit for these people. Goat’s milk production turned out to be a stable source of livelihood for them.
A year later, we first launched our product, obtaining very satisfactory results.
By the middle of 2008, and after having equipped our first storehouse in Santo Domingo, we performed the first milk powder and whole milk harvesting with a view to marketing.
In 2011, after experiencing a rising demand for our products, we decided to build a new 300 square meter storehouse with a capability for cooling down 17,000 liters of milk on a daily basis, which was fully compliant with Senasa regulations.
Eight years later, after having sold thousands of liters of milk, we started producing long-life goat’s milk in 200 ml TETRA PAK® containers. We were the first company in Latin America to release a product of this kind.
Today, we are immensely proud of being an alternative for all those people who need a natural and high-quality product to lead a healthy lifestyle.
