HISTORY

In 1997, concerned about the poor diet of millions of children intolerant to cows´ milk protein (CMP) who represent a 10% of the child population, we developed goat derived dairy products in order to provide an all natural and quality food solution for this pediatrics emergency.
Since the year 2000, along with a group of producers and technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. , Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology (INTA) and INTI (National Institute of Industrial Technology) we developed a goat milk basin in the Northwest of the Argentine province of Cordoba, 200 km from the capital city, in the limits with Catamarca and La Rioja, bordering the Salinas Grandes (Big Salt Flats). We encourage and promote a quantitative and qualitative production of goat’s milk.
The basin has the involvement of hundreds of rural producers, which before this venture only had this animal breed for the sale of the meat purposes. Since the beginning of this initiative, they met a promising and sustainable business as a tool for life.
Our vast collection performed under all standards of quality and sanity, together with the subsequent collection and transfer to authorized drying plants, allow us to produce the first goat milk powder in the country, representing a natural and quality food solution for thousands of parents concerned about their children development.

FILOSOPHY

Alimentaria Caprina is an organization that develops its management in goats milk products, on the premise that natural foods are more effective in the short, medium and long term for proper human development.
From the cooperativism, teamwork and proactivity, we promote the participation of the largest number of possible goat farmers. These are incorporated into the chain of production, in compliance with all rules and corresponding legislation, making it a reliable and optimum product for the needs of thousands of adults and children with nutritional problems.
That is why, Alimentaria Caprina is an organization with a strong social purpose, both in the creation of its products as in the nature thereof.
